Traversing webs: Reflections on relational theory and international relations

Relational theories challenge, in a multitude of ways, how we understand and work with relations International Relations (IR) scholarship. It invites engagement thought practice relationality from different parts the world rethinking boundaries between states individuals but also humans non-humans. This essay considers role relational theory around IR by way series short inter-related reflections, drawing on ‘IR’ author’s experiences shifts everyday life. The ‘traversing webs’ at home work, non-humans, scholarship beyond it, demonstrate ways which is much more than ‘theory’, travels well ‘IR’, yet poses important questions to think do IR.
